Where are you?
We meet at St. Nicholas Church Hall, Church Road (off Hexton Road) Barton-Le-Clay, Bedfordshire, MK45 4LA.  Click here to see the location on streetmap.co.uk

What happens at the ‘meetings’?
Generally, members start gathering at 7pm, and we normally have a guest speaker or professional demonstrator. The night carries through to 9.30pm, during which the art demonstration or speech is delivered. We also project the demonstration on large screen through our video facilities so everyone can see.  Most demonstrations are recorded to DVD for loan at a later stage. Halfway through the night, we break for tea coffee and biscuits, have a chat and then call the raffle.  The night completes with the second half of the presentation or demonstration.

What time are the meetings and how long do they last ?
7.15 pm through to 9.30pm on the 3rd Thursday of each month (10 months of the year)

What is the cost of attending meetings?
If you join us as a 6 month or annual member, it is free.  Guests are always welcome and pay £4 per meeting.

What is the cost of membership?
One year membership is £25, with 6 month membership at £12.50 available in September.

What do I get for the money?
You become a member of Mid Beds Art Society, attending 10 demonstrations a year for free.  You are also entitled to join the members only workshops (which are at extra cost) and enter the Mid Beds Art Society exhibitions with your own works.  There are hanging fees and sales commission for any works sold.

Am I committed to anything?
Only having fun, meeting all levels of people interested in art and the opportunity to mix once a month with a warm and friendly society. Membership fees are nonrefundable once paid.
